Stay at Winterton Country Lodge
What a delightful place to stay while working in KwaZulu Natal. Rooms comfortable and spotless nestled in the stunning trees and gardens of the lodge. Scrumptious food. Great value for money! Convenient location.

Very pleasant overnight stay while on a motorcycle tour
Highly recommended for overnight accommodation or even a breakfast run on a motorcycle. Staff very friendly and attentive, dinner was excellent 'home cooking' which we prefer after a long ride. Some suggestions are: reduced prices out of season, a second 'cosy lounge' and more affordable white and red wines. Will definitely recommend to friends and fellow bikers!

A lovely stay....
My husband and I spent two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed the friendliness, ambience and comfort at Winterton Country Lodge. Meals were great and Mark and Neill made us feel so at home. Highly recommended.

Rose Cottage in the Drakensberg, a place to unwind, relax and restore your soul ... Small dog friendly (by prior arrangement) B&B, dinner by arrangement ... the food is excellent and beautifully presented. You are treated like royalty from the moment you arrive ... sheer bliss ... four magnificent new rooms en suite ... Five Blesbok just an arm's length from your patio playfully chasing Bello the Beagle who lives the life of Riley!!! Julita and Schalk are your hosts ... If this place doesn't touch your soul then you simply don't have one ... I cannot wait to return for the third time.

Accommodation is beautiful and clean. The food was delicious! Had an amazing time thanks to all the staff at Rose cottage.

We had a lovely one night stay there. The only disappointment was that my partner couldn't fish in the little dam, it was too overgrown. But the people that own it are awesome, and they made a fabulous fire for us in the lounge area, and we had a really great evening. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the spa bath a lot of fun. Very well presented, and lovely sense of ambiance. The breakfast was delicious, and all in all a lovely quiet retreat for a relaxing getaway.
