Winterton Country Lodge is a perfect breakaway or stopover on your way to the coast. Indulge yourself in this cosy, quaint and romantic accommodation, between huge trees, abundant birdlife where peace and tranquility enfolds you!

Close to berg resorts for hiking, horseriding, golfing, arts and crafts, restaurants and coffee shops. The well-known Drakensberg Boys Choir and Spionkop Game Reserve are located close by. Enjoy this special "world Heritage Site" in our beautiful Central Drakensberg!

Delicious farm breakfasts and dinner on request to be enjoyed in our charming dining room with a sizzling fire in winter or on the thatched patio overlooking the majestic Drakensberg. Flyfishing and canoeing in the dam, cool down in the pool or just relax in the lovely garden. Braai Facilities, fridge, fan, heater, coffee and tea making facilities and DSTV are available in all the rooms and in the lounge, cosy Pub!

We had a lovely one night stay there. The only disappointment was that my partner couldn't fish in the little dam, it was too overgrown.
